What's done is done, but just another reason that smart candidates in 2026 and 2028 will do what Harris didn't and throw Biden under the bus.
The Hill is a trash heap and this is a hit piece.
Biden's legislation was popular.
Would've been stupid to separate herself from them, she should've embraced them more especially the cost cutting ones.

When Biden stepped aside, he handed Harris two letters to open in case of emergency. And when she opened the first one, it said "You damn well better not blame me! There must be no daylight!"
I didn't vote for her, I'm a very conservative Republican. But I will go to the mats on this: Kamala ran a very good campaign given the impossible circumstances she was put in

She had 3 1/2 years to define a political vision and program, knowing she was likely to be the next nominee. And she was totally unprepared for Biden failing, in one way or another, due to age? How?
I'm pretty sure both Jill and Joe voted for Trump. The Democrat coup will never be forgiven by the Biden family.
It's a shame Harris was so (rightfully) insecure about her own capabilities that she allowed Biden to do this.
Or: maybe Kamala Harris is a grown ass woman and presidential candidate aiming to be leader of the free world and made her own decisions

Oh, come on. The democrats have FAR bigger problems right now than re-hashing their defeat. Get to it.
They didn't have to throw Biden completely under the bus. There were legislative accomplishments to acknowledge. But clearly they should have addressed the inflation issue. If you are going to be President, you have to have the backbone to say no here. This mistake is on Harris.
