That's almost a certainty. The Dems delivered substantial economic improvement -- lower unemployment, faster growth, a significantly higher stock market -- but didn't get credit. And even the inflation concern was exaggerated, as few took the time to look at the other

I would love to see that plot with an added comparison to how well the us economy was actually going. Could be some weighted combination of unemployment and inflation, or maybe just a derivative of GDP?

This is silly. Inflation is like stacking papers. Just because you're adding fewer pieces of paper to the pile more slowly, the pile doesn't get smaller. Try getting out of your narrow cast news universe. Stop paying to be lied to

It was obvious to me that this was what they would do, because Trump never offered any alternative policy that he would do different from Biden outside of simply increasing tariffs.

I assume "pretty good bet" is downlow sarcasm. If there is any confusion about the role conservative media plays in society generally and politics specifically, I think we need look no further in the quest to discover how and why Harris lost.

This is an absolutely damning graph. It says that our party affiliation totally filters our perspective on the economy, apparently regardless of the actual performance of the economy. We run ion flocks of red and blue sheep. Either way we are all sheep.

That will not last once Trump starts implementing his policies, but also the world is on a trajectory towards a global conflict. Biden never should've tried to be a 2 term president, economy should've dominated democrats campaign but also the future needed tangible fixes.
