Ukraine is trying to get North Korean soldiers to defect by showing them that in a POW camp they’ll achieve a standard of living that is beyond anything they could have dreamed of before, including their own beds and regular meals.

You'd think the military elites would be well taken care of in a communist system. 🤷🏻 North Korean defectors should be treated better than how Democrats treat illegals. Ukraine could afford to put them up in 5 Star hotels considering all the money we give them.

If I were a NK troop w/any familiarity w/Euro history (admittedly, a rather unlikely proposition), the thing that would give me serious pause in taking this deal would be Operation Keelhaul.

They should show the Ukrainians pictures of Ukraine before and after capitalism. It was the nicest soviet republic. Now it is in ruins.
