Holy fucking shit. If we’re serious about nuclear, pick off the shelf AP1000’s + 1 Korean or French design, and build them everywhere. Everything else is a meme.

Yep. Yglesias is right on this. Good case for federal oversight breaking everyone into it, which is feasible somehow but will require getting past other entrenched interests I think. (E.g. anti-nuclear groups that will try to sabotage this coordination mechanism)
