If, like me, you find this situation absolutely tragic and sympathize with these children, the most effective and moral thing you can do is donate money directly to these causes or to organizations that help similarly impoverished people around the world.
In 1950 before white people started pumping their nations with foreign aid there were about 180 million sub Saharan Africans and they desperately needed our help.
75 years later there are 1.2 billion sub Saharan Africans and they desperately need our help.
People who are sick and relying on the wealthiest nation in the world to stay alive are now dying because the wealthiest man in the world wants a tax cut.

This is, once again, an attempt at emotional blackmail. It is not the responsibility of the US government to supply drugs to foreign countries using taxpayers' money. This is work that charities, with private donations, should take on.
Always said to hear about people dying. However, the lost ID card & no case worker in January from an apparent USAID funded agency is connected to Musk cuts. Those didn't start until late Jan. If agencies were 100% dependent on USAID funds both of those things are surprising.
Our government is not meant to be a charity organization. Especially not for the entire world.

I don't wish unnecessary death on anyone, but you can't ask me to pay for a bandaid. The plight of the humble African is not why I pay taxes.
If the medicine actually worked, it would take years for HIV to progress to AIDS. So USAID must have been giving him sugar cubes, if he truly died that quickly. 
So we save a literal lifetime of healthcare costs per person that the africans are unwilling to spend 12 cents on?
