You wouldn’t say “regular people don’t care about mortgage rates” just because a bare majority of Americans don’t have a mortgage. It’s even dumber with regard to stock prices.
60% of Americans aged 16 and older are employed, so owning stock is even slightly more common than having a job.

Most people aren’t day traders and aren’t affected by volatility in the market. That, I believe, is why most people couldn’t care less.
Josh, do you think the AMOUNT they have in stocks matters? Hmm..... Do you think maybe you are providing very partial information here?
Middle- and working-class families literally have trillions of dollars of exposure to the stock market through their retirement/pension programs.

According to the Federal Reserve, almost 53% of all defined-benefit pension wealth is held by households in the 50th to 90th percentile. That's almost $10 trillion dollars. And many pensions are heavily invested in the stock market in order to make their promised payouts.

Why would someone under 35 want high stock prices? They wouldn't. Now certainly people over 50 should rightly be very concerned. The 60% is not monolithic.
Exactly. the stock market isnt the only damage here. We all know price hikes are coming very soon. The same ppl who primary complaint for 4 years was high prices are now saying to stop bitching about prices being even higher than what they bitched about. Male or male sense
