This lady ate a surface-to-air missile, sustained a 12-14 G rocket-propelled ejection, likely hit the ground at 15+ miles per hour… And then she popped up smiling at the locals who came to help her. Tell me again that women don’t belong in combat.

Footage of Kuwaiti locals approaching one of the shot down American pilots this morning. “Are you OK? Thank you for helping us.”
The media could not be played.

the amount of training that pilots of our most sophisticated aircraft go through in order to be chosen for missions like this is astronomical the fact that she's a woman means she was already fighting an uphill battle for this job anyway and is likely immensely qualified
Being a badass in the air doesn’t settle the debate about what women can reliably achieve in sustained ground combat. If the person in this video wasn’t friendly, her post ejection chances of survival would have been much less than her male counterpart.
Women don't belong in direct combat. If you dont think there is a difference between a man ending up in enemy hands and a woman, you're lost. Trying to make this about physicality misses the point entirely. I'm very happy she's ok and not behind enemy lines.
The pilot that crashed ? lol. And I think most men think women can be pilot That’s actually one of the few combat roles they can do We mean not boots on the ground
well Alex...they don't belong in infantry combat...and the statistics PROVE THAT overwhelmingly...If they want to be fighter jocks, or Helo stick movers fine. more power to them...but Infantry isn't it, because contrary to popular belief. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE, in physicality.
If you can hack it and all candidates are meeting the same standard, LFG. SAMs and bullets don't discriminate; M4s and night vision weigh the same no matter who you are. The best of America 🇺🇸
If surviving a SAM hit, blackout Gs, and a violent ejection isn’t combat-qualified, nothing is. Capability doesn’t care about gender. The evidence just landed smiling
Women do not belong in combat if ever it can be helped. Our battlefield is the birthing room, and just as we've made maternity safer so too should we do all we are able for our men of arms. But never should a woman be in this situation.

Some men* are just jealous she has a cooler job than them (including mine), but will vehemently deny it and preach “morality” bc “I dOnT WaNt To DiE fOr ISRAEL or TRUMP or the RICH” or “I’m A FaMiLy MaN”. Sure…. keep telling yourself that.
Dont do the meme...

She was shot down in friendly territory by friendly fire. What happens if this was an enemy fighter who took her down in enemy territory, and an enemy infantry unit approaching her instead, with a CSO injured behind her? Would you bet on this lady, or Airman Jocko Willink?
As fighter pilots I don’t there is really a question there. Their ability to react and training can be sustained as it focus on single high intensity and focus driven fights where comms and mental are key. I think most people with real concern are over over long term physicality
So what was the female to male ratio of F-15 pilots flying missions and what are the chances of a female one getting shot down vs a male one considering that?
The overwhelming majority of women do not belong in combat. Unicorn women can handle it as well as the average man. This is a bell curve. Outside of that, they are a liability. The safest bet is to just disallow all of them. Even if feelings get hurt.
They don’t belong in combat not because *some* are physically capable of it, but because a self-respecting civilization doesn’t send our women to fight other countries’ men in combat. This is basic humanity.
