And! These procedural requirements disproportionately affect smaller projects where engineers skew much less experienced with navigating those procedural requirements.

Trump's pulling out a giant board to list the tariffs he's charging today. Looks like 34% China, 20% EU, 46% Vietnam, 32% Taiwan, 24% Japan, 26% India, 25% South Korea, 36% Thailand, 31% Switzerland, 49% Cambodia. Most other countries hid by podium, he's counting them off 1 by 1.

I think that this is wrong in a lot of ways. The reason gas prices get through and other things don't is that gas prices are something people can immediately observe without a third party mediator.
