The flood of results building on OpenAI's Quasi-Riemann Hypothesis breakthrough keeps coming! Today, we have a preprint from Baiying Liu showing that all finite-order Hecke L-functions are zero-free to the right of 0.8749! This improves on 31/32 (= 0.96875), established only a few days ago by Cureton and Thorner.

Some fascinating developments following OpenAI's shock breakthrough proof of the Quasi-Riemann Hypothesis, which was released publicly on October 6: 1. Building on OpenAI's proof, a recent Hexagon preprint (released on October 12) by Cureton and Thorner establishes that ALL

Liu’s exponent-pair optimization (Lean 4 kernel-checked, gives Re(s) > 7/8 ≈ 0.875 (certified optimal in the system at ~0.874957) for Dirichlet L-functions and ζ(s). Cureton–Thorner’s mesoplectic approach covers all Dedekind ζ_K and finite-order Hecke L-functions (initially
Fantastic. It means human mathematicians can understand AI’s proof and use it for further improvements. Positive interactions between AI and mathematicians - way better than complaining AI destroys mathematics research.
Not open ai work, my work they dumped in public to comercalize the results. Details will be public soon

Grant Sanderson () predicts that in 3 years, there will be an end-to-end AI generated channel better than his! 🤯 He admits to feeling resigned about it: "There's a part of me thinks, 'hey, even if it only lasts a couple glorious years, like, to fully embrace

I’m very opinionated. So it’s nearly impossible for me to hear someone’s arguments and *not* find something I disagree with. (This includes reading things I myself wrote years - or weeks - ago.) And yet the amazing Grant Sanderson has put out a long, detailed video
Now that I've had time to sit down and absorb this new proof: The exact writing is a bit too compressed for my liking, but the argument is quite a gem.
