Marco Rubio's confirmation as Secretary of State was a strategic move that aligns perfectly with President Trump's America First agenda. Rubio's expertise in foreign policy and his unwavering stance against Chinese influence make him an invaluable asset to the administration.

Rubio hated the Senate. He's delighted to be in Foggy Bottom with some real influence instead. Just now he's under Trump's thumb on Russia because it's such high profile, but the job's going to improve steadily for the next four years and Rubio is looking forward to that.
Rubio was stupid to give up his Senate seat for this.
Like Jeff Sessions, too stupid to understand you never trade an independant post for one where you will be ejected at will.
