If no classified material was sent, then publishing the material in full would cause no damage to national security, and (barring some other exemption) it could be FOIAed and published by anyone.

Jeffrey Goldberg is well-known for his sensationalist spin. Here are the facts about his latest story: 1. No “war plans” were discussed. 2. No classified material was sent to the thread. 3. The White House Counsel’s Office has provided guidance on a number of different

The simplest way for Leavitt to demonstrate that Goldberg is wrong and Hegseth et al. are right would be to publish (or invite The Atlantic to publish) the unredacted Signal transcripts.
Some of the sensitivities are obvious. But look at the details. The US had eyes on the building entrance. Now the Houthis know to round up and interrogate anyone who was there when the target went in. If the intel source was human, he better be on a dhow to safety by now.

The Houthis also know that confirmation didn't come from inside the building. So they can make certain inferences about the ability of the US to track this particular target (and others like it) with confidence inside buildings. Every little clue can help.
These details aren't nuclear codes, but with just a little imagination you can see why in normal circumstances it would be a career-ending act of negligence to send them to some random person who was not supposed to have them.
This tweet amounts to saying "what about all the classified information I DIDN'T send to Goldberg?"

Another fun example of damage from a passing comment on Signal. Waltz said the target was the Houthis' "top missile guy." Now the Houthis know who we thought their top missile guy was. If he wasn't the top guy, they now know that the actual top guy is safe.

Have you seen the precision with which the US military can target people with drones? Have you seen the Houthi fighters? There is a NatSec breach to be upset about, but you’re making up consequences that don’t exist.
