Yes, the US debt problem is due to four rounds of tax cuts (two by Bush, two by Trump).

There were multiple tax cuts in 40's, 60's and 80's too. Why not take those into account? It's a spending problem which almost all the governments of world have. It started in 2008, especially in the US.
Of course they can't let people spend their money on what they need and want. The all knowing, almighty State knows best how it needs to be spent.
See below. You only run one side of the argument: no tax cuts, spending held at actual. An alternative view is spending held at its 2000 share, and you get the same outcome. "Due to" is doing work this chart doesn't support. As says, plenty of blame to go around

Actually it's completely due to government spending due to never ending war. If you think the national debt is partisan, you are the problem.
Nonsense federal revenues at 17.3% of GDP are at historical norms. The average from 1946 to 2000, before Bush and Trump was 17.4% of GDP. During that long period spending averaged 19% of GDP. For 2025 it was 23.1% of GDP. It’s a spending problem.
2020 Covid and all the free$$ and unaccounted $$ is the obvious spike and then Biden's inflation reduction act. Please at least be fair and a little more granular and specifically truthful
Let's be honest. The debt problem is as much a spending problem as a taxation issue. Quit spending money. Stop the fraud. Treat the money in the drawers like your own!
Instead of me paying more for government how about we make government cost less. 30 trillion has been spent on welfare since 1965. We have more poverty now not less. Time to remove welfare
Absolute horse shit.
Federal government revenues have increased $1.45 trillion in inflation adjusted dollars since 2000.
A 38% INCREASE in revenue over the last 25 years (again, in 2025 dollars).
The problem always has been, and always will be...spending.
Yeah, and it's going to take Democrats fixing the problems and getting all the blame.
Hi Tony, on behalf of Government Inc. LLC a limited liability corporation, please accept our deepest thanks for giving us a pass on 100+ years of virtually unrestrained federal spending and sounding the alarm that the tax mules...err tax payers must understand taxes going
keeping the government's greedy paws off people's hard earned income does not create debt
Half-truth and full lies. The federal debt is an aggressively bipartisan team effort, built by cutting the government's income while simultaneously maxing out its credit card on an endless spending spree...ya
