Dwarkesh Patel and Sarah Paine are both the unlikeliest and the most effective intellectual duo I have ever seen. I heavily recommend going to at least one of these.

On a viewer-minute adjusted basis, I host the Sarah Paine podcast, where I sometimes also talk about AI. I'm very excited to announce a new 6-part in-person lecture series with her in San Francisco in July. We're giving the tickets away for free. Links below.

As an Indian, her talk on India US relationship was eye opening. US wasn't always nasty to us. For three decades they tried to woo us.
I knew Dwarkesh when he started his podcast, but he really seemed to break out with Sarah and I'm proud of him.
She is great, while he asks questions bad for fifteen years old, just counterfactuals
Yes. I hope Dwarkersh eventually pulls out of the AI bubble and spends more time on people like this. He's had other great guests too. Unironically this is inter-generational content.
It's mostly her. She is crazy good at summing up history and on point every time. Often times, western version of history is far removed from the reality of places like India. Not her.
