One reason murder is falling so fast in 2023-2024 is it rose so much in 2020 giving us lots of room to drop.
But we are on pace to do more than reverse that surge and have fewer murders this year than in 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, or 2015.

That graph only shows percent change. We all know how the high murder rate was because of COVID. Highest since the 90's. The change isn't because of Democrat policies (with liberal DAs, judges, cashless bail & police forces defunded). The murder rate itself is still high.
