Many assumed Trump would be able to more effectively pursue his goals this term b/c he had a set of likeminded and competent operators ready to join him. Accidentally shutting down Medicaid in an attempt to freeze "DEI" grants raises questions about that conventional question.

I actually agree that today seems a lot like a miscommunication. But the problem wasn’t the press. The problem was that the memo wasn’t clear.

This is the section that was supposed to exempt Medicaid, for instance. It could have said ‘this order excludes Medicaid,’ just like it lusts Medicare and Social Security. Instead, it references ‘assistance provided directly to individuals.’ The problem? Medicaid payments go

Here’s the description of ‘federal assistance’ they use. If you look closely and click through, it exempts Medicaid payments to providers. But it says nothing about payments to states.

You're a journalist. Don't just take them at their word, interrogate and investigate. But if you genuinely thought that he was going to pick competent people instead of just cronies then maybe I expect too much from you
You're misunderstanding his goal. His goal is to behave like a dictator to prove that no other branch of Congress will stop him. Which then confirms he is actually a dictator. So far, a flurry of blatantly unconstitutional actions is right on track.
The portals were down but they said everybody was getting their credits. You should wait one day and you could of found out and that wouldn’t have made you look stupid
