Never understood why schools need to feed children. Where are their parents? Same with school buses. I see parents in pyjamas dropping off their kids at the bus stop, the probably going back to sleep. What happened to being responsible for what you have created?
This is separate from food stamps. How many time programs do we have to feed people my gosh.

Best I can tell the purpose of this government sanctioned racket was to help states overcome supply chain disruptions after said governments created the problem by forcing businesses to close during the great COVID scare of ‘21.

USDA clarified states funds for LFPA agreements won’t be canceled (appropriated). Schools are getting the money in 2025. The schools and Congress have till October 2025 to show they need it and have used the money appropriately.

I was in school 20 years ago .. never once saw local food in my schools.
10 years ago I did janitor work, no local foods in that entire school district.
The entire system was built to get fraudulent money into people's pockets. Not to do as they say.

cannot stand the orange faced buffoon. But being a custodian at a school, food waste is EXTREMELY high. Especially with the after school program SERRF. I can honestly say, food waste is over 90%.
