Except it’s not true.
Monaco, Singapore, Qatar, Luxembourg to name a few all have higher gdp per capita.
The Art of Flight is a homage to 80s/90s arcade action shmups with a fresh twist on the genre. Pilot multiple ships at the same time to take on oncoming waves of enemies in this fast paced space shooter. Wishlist on Steam today!
find me subsections of countries like states, cities or cantons that have higher per capita gdp than California
I'm guess that the highest little blips there are 3 of the micronations in Europe: Monaco, Liechtenstein, and Luxembourg.
Imagine growing up in Southern California. Where do you move to after that? You can’t afford to live where you were born, and literally everywhere else is worse than what you’re used to.
Isn't California's higher GDP per capita driven mostly by higher concentration of wealth on specific individuals?
Color blinds of the world hate you. Only found Ireland because of other replies
Now if we get rid of the illegals, I think we’ll turn Ireland red. Maybe Luxembourg too.
Ireland is distorted due to all the money being pumped into that country for constructing homes for Continentals, and other unwanted foreigners.
The only activity more profitable than high tech is tax haven for megacorps and ultra rich.
That's pretty much all you need to know about equity...
they say per capita but i don't think the california population has been reliably counted
California should stop dragging the rest of the country along behind them and just secede.
California is a shithole and it's GDP is that high? Does it get that by extracting it from its tax cattle?
Whomever has been to Ireland can tell about the majority of the people not enjoying this wealth. GDP is a poor measure. Switzerland is a better place to work, live, raise a family, and live peacefully.
California benefits from the Cantillon Effect. Central bank-connected finance buys up tech in Silicon Valley. Adjust for PPP and the map will change a bit.
pretty good representation of the uselessness of gdp considering ireland is the only one blue
Absolute nonsense of a chart. Adjust for purchasing power and then we can talk.
This is all thanks to like 10 companies. It is not a reflection of the governance so quit playing
the fact that most public services suck there proves that value creation is meaningless without good policy. eventually everyone realizes that politics matter, unfortunately
Yeah because GDP is the single greatest predictor of quality of life. We know that from California, right? California doesn't have a permanent underclass of 20 million people, rolling blackouts, and a disfunctional state government either ... right.
This map is so wrong and the fact no one in this thread has realised it is so fucking funny
