EA is a well intentioned ideology with a ton of blind spots, like the fact that they focus so much on technological change rather than social change, and focus on careerism rather than political organizing for example.

"Effective Altruism" is just another example of "we named ourselves the good people organization, this means we cannot be evil".

The Right believes in sustained projects cored in Elite Passion in which all feedback that harm is being done is overridden by assessment that theory is being followed perfectly. Like the devil, the great trick is convincing people that those aren't real.
