I was in Gdańsk, Poland on 9/1, and they had a big thing at Westerplatte at 4:45AM to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the attack by Germany, which started WWII in Europe.

Putin having to pay for North Korean soldiers in Ukraine is not a sign of strength. Certainly not a sign he can fight a peer army in Europe.

Right now it kind of feels like another Crimean War.

Everything, eventually, traces back to June 28, 1914 and the resulting July crisis. Including both Russia's attack on Ukraine( an attempt by Putin to regain the lost Empire of 1914) and the Mideast wars ( the fallout from the collapse of the Ottoman Empire)
