Russia was unable to cripple Ukraine's critical infrastructure over 10+ years of trying. Ok, you get some blackouts and such for the first few weeks or months, then suddenly the IT gets super solid and the tricks stop working.
The US’ critical infrastructure reminds me of a sitting duck Except it’s worse, it’s like a sitting duck made out of GOLD LEAF with neon Christmas lights attached and a sign reading “STEAL FROM ME PLS”
I suggested as much, that this was purposefully sloppy work.

So, this is probably a stupid question, but I'm going to ask anyway. Why can't we put everything controlling critical infrastructure, our weapons systems etc, on a private intranet inaccessible to anyone outside of the government/military?
