I sympathize with everyone who doesn’t want to put up with Trump’s bullshit, but from the national interest standpoint I think it’s better for people not to resign.
Do your job, keep your eyes and ears open, blow the whistle if crimes happen.

They were too quirt the last four years to be trusted in that department.
If you think his ideas suck, the best thing to do is implement them aggressively. That will cause more public backlash than slow walking everything.
Makes sense as an argument but not many people would want to put up with that as their career.
"Working to rule" > resigning where you are being asked to do something odious but legal.
It's in the democratic interest that federal agencies cooperate in the lawful policy agenda of duly elected officials, even if those policies are a bad idea. Resignation is the proper alternative.
The whistle has been blaring since his last presidency. He had trials for godsakes and the whistles were going off then. Eventually, you tune the whistle out. Crimes are happening, but nothing will stop them from happening now. And nothing was done about them before.
Have had the name muted for years and don’t see a reason to unmute now that he is sending ICE to our schools to profile ethnic looking kids.
