I don't think people know that making plausible fake videos is now something that doesn't require a lot of skill or time I made this Veo video of a man trying out a flying skateboard at CES from a text prompt, 2nd try. Notice the shadows, green light, his body shifts for balance

I am wondering if anyone is telling this to their customers? Like a bank educating their at risk customers who are susceptible to fraud. Are you aware of anyone doing this type of education in general? Warns of fraud and ai videos/voice/etc.? It's going to give fraudsters

🚀 Introducing Freepik AI video generator. Everything you need to create high-quality, physically accurate videos in one place. 🤩
more we see these ai-generated videos, the more they train us to question real, human-generated videos 😀
this is just the beginning. we're entering an era where visual content authenticity will require blockchain verification and AI detection systems. the average person won't be able to trust their eyes anymore without technical validation.
i was litertally at ces this year and for a moment i was like wait - what how did i miss that.
Google's VEO 2 is so damn good. I guess when you have the best data (YouTube) you get the best models. I'm still waiting to get into the Adobe Firefly Video beta, but I doubt it's going to be close to this.
Do you think one day AI video model will be empty simulator where we build assets through prompting... just like a cg simulator... That's what we need as filmmakers
and to think not so long ago Demis Hassibis was worried that Sora was well ahead of deepmind..
Same thing with voice. Had a meeting with a bank today and they use voice verification. I advised them to stop.
AI has made it easy for anyone to create realistic avatar videos without expensive gear. AKOOL and Synthesia are top choices for AI-generated "talking photo" videos. Which one is best for your team?
The crowd should be watching him, especially since it's a new technology. May be you can prompt it?
Pre order today 😆. Now I don’t only need to worry about my grandparents getting scammed. Now I need to worry about everyone I know.
This video, made as an example of how easy it is to fool people, will surely be used to fool many people.
And that is really crazy! This gives the possibility to power the era of misinformation. You can basically fake everything in a perfect way now...
If the people around him were observing, this video would look very real and extremely hard to distinguish whether it’s real or AI generated.
Why would it have wheels on top like that? I think the AI could have made the design make a bit more sense. As insanely advanced as generative AI is, there still seem to be very minor flaws like this that give the AI-generated nature away.
It's great, but the man who walks into frame from the left unnaturally turns his body, shows there is still some physics and permanence work to be done.
It is surprising to me that Google was the company to take the lead in this arena AND actually make it available to the public. Seems risky for the brand...would be less so for Runway or even OpenAI.
there are many AI giveaways, but the large guy in a black shirt walking on the left, his hand is sometimes in his pocket, sometimes not, and it seems to merge into the pocket at some point. Until AI can clean up stuff like that, there will always be obvious tells.
Wait till instababes start doing extreme sports (fake AI generated) why travel to somewhere when you can generate it
