This is exactly why it’s hard to leave the Bay Area when you grew up in the Bay Area.

Yes but is a high of 50° really comfortable?
You have it better in Oakland than we do in SF
Very true. 50 degrees is COLD
but I can handle it if it’s a low in the middle of the night when I’m tucked under my warm blankets.
love the bay area weather, but didn't quite jive that it's far superior to hawaii. something more like this seems right to me

This seems like a decent map, but the color scales on this AI map don’t make sense.
I guess. I go to the Bay area regularly, and I hate the weather.
I like to swim, and every pool there is freezing. Just like the Pacific water. Freezing.
Even in August.
F*** that.
I agree SF is not a pool town. And the beaches aren’t great. There ate cities in the Bay Area that are great for pools though.
This chart is whacked, or designed by some jackass in San Francisco. The low end of comfortable should be 60 degrees.
Results would be the same at a low of 60. Go design a chart yourself, it’s a free website.
I grew up in Ohio and moved to Southern CA at age 30, married and raised our kids in coastal California. Kids grow up spoiled, without very basic resilience and without necessary patience required in adult-life..solely by growing up in perfect weather year-round.
They miss out
To say kids grow up spoiled, without basic resilience, and the necessary patience required for adult life by living in comfortable climate is a bit far.
That has more to do with parenting than weather. But you're entitled to your own opinion.
I believe great weather opens the
The bay may be pretty nice, but isn't San Francisco itself more known for somewhat-awful weather 350 days per year?
It’s know for tech, and having late summers. It’s in the 60’s right now in the middle of July. Will get the 70’s to 80’s in August/September.
AS well as ORANGE COUNTY CA the afternoon sea breeze around 5 PM is what keeps me behind enemy lines paying the highest taxes in America. LOL nothing better than a daily sea breeze
See, I hate these. I love winter and skiing, so for me the whole definition is off. Give me the Colorado mountains anytime over 50-85 (85 sucks!) despite it being colder.
I get it, “comfortable” is subjective.
I’d rather visit the mountains on vacation than live there year round.
It’s ok, I understand why you’re upset.
I didn’t know it could be cloudy and 103.
