“Congestion” tax only moves some traffic from one part to another. Traffic is worse elsewhere in Manhattan because of it. Honestly, it’s all smoke and mirror. This has nothing to do with congestion and is all about taxing more of the driving public to bailout the failing -
?? The "congestion" was artificially created by the City in order to put this scheme in place making money off of working class drivers. Get the potted plants out of the streets around Macy's and so forth and the "congestion" will go away FOR FREE.
Empty streets are GR8 for fashion shoots but restaurants and clubs that depended on traffic from New Jersey or Queens are dead now, thanks to this criminal behavior by local politicians

Honking is noticeably reduced outside the zone, I live in Harlem and it is so rare to hear someone laying on their horn. It almost makes me think that those most egregious horn blasters are from out of state. 🤔
the problem with congestion pricing is that its a really good urban policy that happens to be in a blue city in a blue state and that's not supposed to happen
Once again, we’re missing the complete analysis. This only looks at handpicked stats. We need an analysis of multiple areas outside the zone and citywide as well to learn if CP has influenced this. This is just more #ActivistMath
More bullshit. We're talking about 67 complaints prior. If I had to guess it's the same 2-3 people who made the 67 complaints. Dude these nonsense articles are a joke . You guys deserve jail time for your criminal actions
You want quiet you dont live in the middle of mhtn…. Especially on a bridge or tunnel route ..Checkpeds idiocy…And you dam well know that most of that quiets down post evening rush hour but why state the truth
🤡🤡🤡🤡 Obviously you have ulterior motives. Anyone with half a brain knows you fix the MTA first. It’s broken. You don’t reward their bad behavior. Seriously what is wrong with people like you? Taxpayers should pay for MTA waste, fraud and corruption?
This is the most bullshit fucking complaint I have ever seen in a major city ever. Who the fuck is tracking honking complaints? Who the fuck makes a police report or complaint because of honking in the middle of fucking Manhattan? Sounds like a privileged white pasty liberal

Which looks like a better use of public space to you? The craziest part about this is Lower Manhattan's council member deliberately brought up a vote to tear this down. Want public spaces that prioritize people over cars? Donate to my campaign: contribute.nycvotes.org/campaigns/jess

60 degrees out and the dozens of outdoor dining seats in front of Clandestino and Le Dive have been replaced by two parking spots, thanks to our City Council. The only redeeming value of Dimes Square, totally vanished!
Oh no! I live in a city and have to share the street with people! Why can't this be a suburban parking lot??

NYC council member denying a sidewalk cafe in one of the densest neighborhoods on the continent due to “noise.” I’m going to become the joker.
