Concerning words from TikTok’s CEO.
“I haven’t heard exactly what we’ve done that’s wrong.”
So he views none of this as wrong:
- illicitly spying on Americans
- storing data on U.S. users in China, where it’s subject to CCP’s national security law, despite testifying that U.S. user data is stored only in U.S. & Singapore.
- allowing personnel in Beijing undisclosed access to troves of sensitive U.S. user data, despite public representations to the contrary
- enabling CCP state media to run secret foreign influence campaigns through TikTok
- And much, much more
🚨TikTok CEO asked — “Why won’t you sell?”
“It’s not feasible,” & “would lead to banning of the app in the country.”
So, TikTok admits that it would rather sacrifice its U.S. users & revenue, than disconnect itself from a genocidal communist regime.
Logical business decision.
