“We’ve gotten much better at weather forecasting.” Completely location dependent. At least in the US anything east of Rockies, a 5 day forecast is mostly high-quality guesswork.

They show northern hemisphere and southern now being equivalent. But are there other regions that aren’t as good - eg when I was in Korea recently their forecast didn’t seem as quite as reliable (presumably a combo of big data processing and/or sensor coverage)
